This is a distinction conferred upon only a few selected companies with a proven track record in the International market.

Asia
Asia Asia is the largest continent in the world in terms of its size and it accounts for 60% of the world's population. Flamingo began its quest in the Asian continent in the early 90's. Today Flamingo is present predominantly in South East Asian Countries.

Some of its key markets in this region are,

·         Cambodia : With its own sales team and 107 products registered Flamingo holds itself in good stead among its competitors in Cambodia.

·         Philippines : Flamingo has 123 product registrations in Philippines which is the highest amongst all pharmaceutical companies exporting pharmaceutical products to Philippines. Flamingo's major selling brands in Philippines are Vhellox  500 (Amoxicillin 500 mg) and Analmin 500 (Mefenamic Acid 500 mg).

·         Sri Lanka : Flamingo has also left its footprint in the SAARC countries with its presence in Sri Lanka. Flamingo's Brands like Lexin (Cephalexin) Dry Syrup and Kamox (Amoxicillin) Capsules occupy space in almost every pharmacy shelf across the country.

·         Vietnam : Flamingo is currently the fastest growing pharmaceutical brand in Vietnam with branded products like Supraflam (Cefadroxil) and Odazipin (Cefixime 100 & 200 mg) Capsules. Flamingo has registered high sales volumes in Generics like Loratadine and Nalidixic Acid tablets in the last few years.

Year 2006 was noted with one of the biggest milestones in Flamingo's journey when it marked its presence in India, with comprehensive range of quality formulations including Anti-Infectives, Gastroenterologicals and Orthocare.

Africa
Flamingo's association with the African continent began almost two decades ago. With the spreading of its roots in 19 markets and dominating the region in almost all Therapeutic categories, Flamingo has now become a force to reckon within the continent. Flamingo has a great track record of adding newer products to its basket every quarter.

Some of its key markets in this region are,

·         Ethiopia : Ethiopia is one of the major pharmaceutical markets in East Africa. The Ethiopian Market relies greatly on imports. Flamingo made notice of this, when it ventured into Ethiopia in 1998. Today, Erythromycin and Doxycycline are the major products supplied by Flamingo to this country. 

·         Kenya Backed by its strong field force Flamingo has established itself as a dominant supplier in this country. Flamingo has a total of 79 product registrations in Kenya and its maximum revenue in the African continent comes from Kenya. Flamingo's major brands in Kenya are Kamox Clav (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid) tablets Trixone (Ceftriaxone) and Mediproc (Fortified Procaine Penicillin 4 Mega) injection. Flamingo has also participated in the tenders of International Red Cross and of Ministry of Health Organizations like KEMSA (Kenya Medical Supplies Agency).

·         Uganda : Flamingo entered into the Ugandan market in 1997 and has since garnered significant market share in this country. Flamingo has 81 products registered with NDA (National Drug Authority). The major selling Branded products in Uganda are Ceftrile (Ceftriaxone) Injection & Aziflam (Azithromycin) & Locid (Omeprazole) Capsules.

Flamingo is also actively involved in tender markets with JMS (Joint Medical Supplies). Besides the key markets, Flamingo is also present in other markets like Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Flamingo also holds the distinction of being among the early entrants in Ivory Coast.

West Africa
Flamingo marked its presence in this part of the African continent through various tenders, but considering the market potential Flamingo made considerable number of product registrations in countries like Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Equator Gabon, Ivory Cost, Senegal and Togo, and today they are contributing substantially in Flamingo’s business.

Africa holds the key to Flamingo's success with more than 500 product registrations.

Central and South America
Central and South American pharmaceutical markets offer sizeable opportunities for branded and generic drug companies. Flamingo made its foray in these markets in the early 90’s with the intention of providing access to cost effective and high quality generic drugs.

Some of the key markets in this region are,

·         Chile : Chile pharmaceutical market has cut throat competition among all importers to garner the share of the pie. Flamingo has 22 products registered in Chile which are sold as either Generics or under client’s Brand name.

·         Costa Rica : Costa Rica has been the most popular country for exports of pharmaceutical products. Market is mainly dominated by branded drugs in the private pharmacy sector and generics in the public sector. Flamingo has made a name for itself in Costa Rica as one of the largest supplier to the Government institutions with 51 product registrations.

Flamingo is also present in other markets like El Salvador & Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Haiti & Trinidad and Tobago. Although these countries are small in terms of their size and population, they provide large markets for Generic drugs. Flamingo is deeply rooted into these countries with more than 400 product registrations.

Commonwealth of Independent states (CIS)
The new Millennium marked entry of Flamingo into the CIS markets. Market development began with Flamingo’s entry into Ukraine in 2001. Flamingo currently has 22 products registered in Ukraine and is adding products to its basket with new registrations every year to spread its wings in this market.

Under its strategic plan Flamingo has already registered products in Albania and Moldova and now eyeing Uzbekistan and Belarus where the product registrations are in process. CIS is strategically important to Flamingo's growth and future as it has enormous potential and the efforts made by Flamingo in terms of product registration is about to be realized .

Oceania
Flamingo is building its strong presence in this market since 1998 through various tender participations in  countries like Fiji Islands, Solomon Islands and trading tie-ups in New Zealand. Papua New Guinea has been a major beneficiary of Flamingo's presence in this region. Flamingo has supplied large volumes to this island through tenders
