INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

International Business forms an important and intergral part of Flamingo’s operations. Flamingo’s foray in international business started from inception exporting formulations to East African countries. After setting up its first manufacturing plant at Rabale, Maharashtra in 1993 it forayed into the markets of Africa, South East Asia and Central America. Flamingo exports more than 300 formulations of various dosage forms to its customers from Rabale.

With the approval from UK-MHRA/ EU-GMP of its new Solid dosage manufacturing facility at Taloja in 2005, Flamingo entered into the regulated markets of Europe with Contract Manufacturing Services.

Flamingo’s contract manufacturing business has spread reach across Europe and is now foraying into various regulated markets such as US by setting up 2 new manufacturing facilities in Nanded, Maharashtra. The new facilities will be operational by November 2011.

Flamingo’s expertise in manufacturing of quality finished dosage forms from world class manufacturing facilities has enabled the company to expand presence in more than 50 countries around the world.
