Mr. K. K. Puri

Prior to joining Flamingo in March of 2006, Mr. Puri has worked with Ranbaxy for 35 years serving in various capacities. His last assignment was heading the China operations for the company for 5 years, where he also won the prestigious Friendship Award from the Government of China, an award rarely given to a foreign entity.

Before handling China operations, for 7 years Mr. Puri managed the whole of Africa, except South Africa, and established markets for the company at French West Africa, East Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria etc. both in terms of new product launches, new market openings. During his tenure with Ranbaxy, the company’s IMS one ranking & profitability saw drastic improvements.

Another highlight of Mr. Puri’s career with Ranbaxy was the opening of Ranbaxy’s Thailand Unit in 1986 based in Bangkok where he headed operations for more than 3 years.

A Science Graduate from “ Hansraj College, Delhi”, Mr. Puri also holds a management diploma from Mumbai University. Mr. Puri is an avid reader and spends his leisure time keeping him abreast with the latest trends in business around the world. Mr. Puri also likes to read and play golf & tennis.
